You Pee ...(sigh..)
Passing UPCAT is something, but passing its first semester is far more challenging compared to UPCAT. "Come on Vamonos! Everybody lets go!" We had our campus tour and UP Los Banos being the largest UP campus is very troublesome to explore. One thing I learned from that tour was never again will I join any campus tour. First few weeks were easy. LaLaLaLa!!! We can do whatever we want! You can skip class whenever you want. I never experienced this freedom during my high school days. Only four of us coming from our school passed in UP Los Banos, most of our previous classmates are in UP Diliman. The rest you asked? They are now in UST. Life in UP Los Banos is pretty convenient. My schedule is not that full and my earliest subject is Sosc 1 at 8:30. At first I was shy (Who wasn't? Honestly...). I gave my introduction short and I barely talk unless asked. Next was Eng 2, my teacher in Eng 2 was Mr. Joey Vargas, an artist and a member of Choral Ensemble. He was... was... how can I say it? Intimidating... have you ever by any chance encountered Professor Snape? (De)mentor Joey Vargas is very similar to Professor Snape... (shudder). My Math 11 was okay, nothing unusual like flying cars... My Hume 1 was the coolest subject UP Los Banos had ever created. My teacher Ma'am Sunga is very cool. Of all my subjects during this day, this subject is where I can relax. IT 1 is somehow similar to Professor Binn in History of Magic in Harry Potter. Gosh! OMFG! How Boring!! Yet, I must live the reputation of being a UP student and listen to what my Professor is saying. My professor in IT 1 was awarded of something I can't remember but it included being a member of a science organization or something like that. My Bio 1 was also boring cause of my teacher's dull voice and the fact that it was 1:00 and it was just after my lunch. I always feel sleepy during her time. My PE 2 was okay because my sport is really my favorite. My sport is volleyball. I really liked it and was once a varsity during my high school days. I have two laboratory subject and both were cool. My Bio 1 lab was cool because our professor is not strict. He really explained the lessons well. Sometimes, our sit-in -people who join a class but its not really their class asked us why were we so noisy because compared to their Bio 1 lab, their prof is so strict. My IT 1 lab compared to my Bio 1 lab wherein we are really arguing for our prof to give us extensions in our allotted time due to the experiment's difficulty, my IT 1 lab finishes way beyond early. Once you finished the activity, you may leave the class. One more thing that interests me in my IT 1 lab is Linux. Linux is similar to Microsoft but unlike Microsoft, Linux is for free. All the applications in Microsoft has counterpart in Linux. (sigh)... Being here in UP Los Banos is really fun.
